Thyrfing – Over the hills and far away

After basically listening to Hansi and Jon for the past 6 months, I’m back to listening to Thyrfing again. And man, have I overlooked “Urkraft”! It’s a great album, including their cover of “Over The Hills And Far Away”, which is much better than both the original and Nightwish’s and Sonata Arctica’s version of it. Plus, they were the first of them to cover it ;P

Here it is:

Update: I uploaded this for another site, but I thought I might as well post it here too. It’s a song in Swedish which describes life in large cities in a very poetic and sad way.

I shake my fists at you, global warming!

It’s December 4th, and there’s still no snow. This is ridiculous. We had snow in early November, but none now. It’s light from like 8 am to 3 pm, then it’s pitch dark. With snow, this wouldn’t be a problem as snow picks up and reflects all the light and actually makes it lighter than normal summer nights, but now it’s just dark. Very dark.

I WANT MY COLD AND SNOW, I DEMAND A BAN ON PETROL IN THE UNITED STATES NOW!
